Husqvarna Automower® Blades
By changing the blades often on your Automower®, you get a greener, finer, denser lawn. If you let your robotic lawnmower cut with dull blades, it tears the grass instead of cutting it with a fine cut. Our recommendation is to change the blades on your robotic lawnmower every 5 weeks.
See our range of blades for robotic lawnmowers below. We have several different models, including Husqvarna's original Long-Life and Endurance knives.

How often should Automower blades be changed?
We are often asked how often the Automower® blades should be changed to get the best possible cutting results.According to our experience, we recommend that the knives be changed every six to eight weeks. It mainly depends on how much your Automower® mows and also whether there are branches, cones or coarser grass in the garden.
If the robotic lawnmower hits branches or other objects, the wear on the blades will be greater and then we recommend that you also change the blades more often to get a good result.
You can also note how the grass looks after the Automower® has done its job. If the tops of the grass look split and frayed, it is a sign that the blade is no longer cutting an even, fine cut, but is instead tearing the grass. Then you should change the blades so that the Automower® cuts fine cuts again!
