Automower® Low Voltage Cables
The Automower low-voltage cable is the extension between the transformer and the charging station. It connects to the transformer at one end and the charging station at the other. The cable is model-specific, although some models use the same type. For instance, models like the Automower 305 (2020), 310, and 315 use the same type. Always ensure that the low-voltage cable you order fits your specific model. If a low-voltage cable isn't necessary or has become damaged, you can directly connect the transformer to the charging station without it. *
*Note that some models must use a low-voltage cable to function properly. This is because the low-voltage cable reverses polarity, and without it, no power will be supplied if you connect the transformer directly to the charging station.
This applies to Automower 440, 450X, and 550.

Repairing Automower Low Voltage Cable
If the low-voltage cable has been pinched or abraded, it can become damaged and eventually break or the sheath may be compromised to the extent that the insides are exposed. If the insides are visible, it can easily be fixed by extensively wrapping the damaged area with electrical tape to keep moisture out. If the cable has been completely severed, those experienced in soldering and knowledgeable in the process can solder the Automower low-voltage cable back together. We do not recommend attempting to solder the Automower low-voltage cable if you lack prior soldering experience.
